Kishore Desagani, M.D.

Co-Founder & Co-President

Dr. Desagani is the co-founder and co-president of Bridge Telehealth – a company with a deep passion to serve, a commitment to improve access to quality care for all individuals in need of psychiatric care wherever they may be.

A native of Hyderabad, India, Dr. Desagani earned his medical degree from Osmania Medical College and completed his residency in General Psychiatry at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he also received an outstanding leadership award for his contributions as chief resident. He completed his subspecialty training in Forensic Psychiatry at UCLA. He is board certified in General Adult and Forensic Psychiatry.

Dr. Desagani carries diverse experience as an educator, clinician, and leader. He served as the medical expert and consultant psychiatrist to the Medical Assessment and Policy team at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. He also built a successful private practice in Orange County before moving to the public sector. Dr. Desagani held faculty appointment at UCR School of Medicine in Riverside where he was involved in education and training of psychiatric residents and led the implementation of standardized patient care as the Director of Inpatient Services.

Most recently, in his role as Psychiatric Medical Director, at Orange County Health Care Agency (CHS), he oversaw and was instrumental in expanding the delivery of psychiatric care in the area of correctional health services. During his tenure, access through the tele-psychiatric program both expanded and improved substantially, ensuring efficiency and accessibility to care for a historically underserved population. Throughout his career, Dr. Desagani has developed a profound sense of appreciation about the importance of providing patient-centered care while maintaining the delicate balance between the need for treatment and patient rights.

Mandeep Reddy, M.D.

Co-Founder & Co-President

Dr. Reddy is the co-founder and co-president of Bridge Telehealth - a company founded on the principle of providing exceptional and reliable care to patients.

Dr. Reddy is board-certified in Adult Psychiatry. She grew up in Tustin, California. She obtained a biology degree from University of California, Berkeley. She has a masters in Applied Physiology and a medical degree, both from The Chicago Medical School. During medical school, she saw severely mentally ill patients improve with devoted providers and this fueled her passion to help these patients. She completed her general psychiatry residency at Thomas Jefferson University and was also chosen to be Chief Resident. She received the Laughlin Foundation Distinguished Fellow Award for demonstrating leadership and excellence. She conducted emergency evaluations for inmates in Philadelphia Corrections where she developed unparalleled experience in treating inmates and realized the deficiencies in mental health care in this population.

Dr. Reddy started her career in an academic setting as Inpatient Director at Jefferson University Hospital where she supervised and educated residents. In this position, she provided different modalities of care including electroconvulsive therapy(ECT) to treatment-resistant patients. Dr. Reddy moved back to her roots in Southern California where she continued her career at Kaiser Permanente and practiced several years in various clinical settings including consult-liaison and outpatient.

Dr. Reddy continued to pursue her passion to provide high quality and accessible care for inmates, and became the first telepsychiatrist for orange county corrections. She served as a director for a telehealth provider team for Orange County Corrections and led a team of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners. In her leadership role, she worked closely with the providers to optimize care to inmates. She has a deep understanding of the positive impact of telepsychiatry in the settings of corrections, hospital, and community mental health. She has a drive to reach patients in need, and fill the deep gaps in mental health care.
